Meeting Request Resending Without User Intervention in Outlook 2007
Scenario: A user in our organization sent out a recurring meeting to
internal users on 8/7. Today (8/22) at 6:00 am, the meeting got resent out
to the same group (no changes to the meeting itself). User did not update
or send the meeting invite. Meeting was originally created in Outlook and
has never been changed using her smart phone.
She mentioned this happened on another meeting (non-recurring). It was
originally sent out over 6 months ago, but last month, it decided to
resend itself out again. The key note is that when it resent itself out,
it was at 6:00 am as well. Attached is a screen capture of the latest
meeting. Top one is the original sent out on 8/7 and the bottom is the
meeting that resent itself at 6:00 am today.
Environment: System is Windows XP SP3. We have hosted email through Office
365 and I'm fairly certain the backend Exchange server is 2010. Please let
me know if there is any other information I can provide. Screen capture is
